After the opulence of the Palace of Versaille, this area is much less impressive but still very much worth a visit. The Peiti Trianon is Marie- Antoinette's 'escape from court life' retreat but is still impressive in itself. Set in beautiful gardens that include the...More

Situated on the estate is the neoclassical Petit Trianon Palace which was given to Marie-Antoinette by her husband Louis XVI as a wedding gift. The interior boasts a wrought-iron staircase leaving to the queen's elegant pale-blue salon. This palace is more intimate than Versailles.

I agree with one reviewer on the opulence of the Palace. I understand why the people revolted. Truly is an amazing visit. To visit it all get there early. The Hamlet, Trianons and the gardens is a lot of walking. Do yourself a favor and...More

We paid 20€ instead of 18 to include the trianons in our visit. HOWEVER after 20 minutes of walking from the gardens a part of the trianons was closed for restoration. In addition after visiting Versailles, this part of the palace will appear less impressive....More

The Grand and Petite Trianon were interesting but after seeing the actual palace they are a little underwhelming. These are included in the Museum Pass so if you've got the time, stamina, and interest I would say it's definitely worth it. Unfortunately they make you...More

It took us a while to get here, but it was amazing. Our tickets including entry to the Trianons, and you just walk by the Hamlet. I for one really enjoyed the Hamlet. It just reminded me of a medieval village.

But the grand tour ticket to be able to get the Trianon included in your visit ticket. Make sure to keep the ticket always with you because you will be asked to scan it in each entrance. I recommend renting a golf car to go...More

A much quieter area although smaller than Versailles Palace its better to see and less crowded so was easier to take your time to enjoy the surroundings and the gardens. Although in November there was colour in the borders and we enjoyed this section of...More

I don't know exactly because the Trianon is a separate building. But I would say the gardens are open as long the Versailles gardens are open. So all day long till late evening. M.

Hello, You can rent the golf cart on the North terrace. The terrace is located behind the chateaux, on the garden side. You will also need a valid drivers license -- US works and it costs 32 euros an hour. Have a great... More
