Quite scary experience for adults too. There is only two of us so it's very scary. Man in dark suit jumped twice behind us, all room was automatic. I'm still shaking ! Cost 7€ and its worth it.

I went in with my 13 yo sister, expecting a fun experience for her (at most). The place is quite scary, and the experience is cool even for adults. It's an interesting activity, but I wouldn't recommend if you are easily spooked :)

Slightly expensive at 7 euros down from 10 but the 14 year old and the 11 year old fancied a go with me. All rooms in the house when you start are fairly dark and men in dark suits pop up in the rooms with people screaming with you and around you at the various scenarios. Wardrobes and walls moving... You can go if you have to keep your kids calm for some time. Right in the middle of the La Cite', good option to spend some family time.

Not worth it at all for anyone over the age of 10. If you have young kids, they might enjoy it somewhat, but still - it's not really up to scratch compared to what you'd expect from a haunted house in a major tourist destination. The 2/5 applies to young kids, anyone else should consider this a 1/5.

It's not sophisticated but at some points in the experience as you move through the rooms there are some old fashioned shocks to make you scream. For 7 euro pp you can't complain.

Our three children ventured in on the adult trek through the house. All teenagers, one boy, two girls. They said it was more scary thinking of what may happen rather than what did. Lots of smiling faces as they came out. We did notice some younger families on the children's trip where one or two of the young ones clearly... More

Very fun activity to do with the kids! The Maison hantée (haunted house) and the Musée de l'inquisition (Torture Museum) are both very interesting to visit.
