We visited both during the day and at night. It really comes alive at night with a great atmosphere. A bonus was the music during the Fête de la Musique. Loads of restaurants to choose from.

Lots of restaurants on this square, under leafy trees, but with lots of noise from all the other hungry and chatty people. Liked another restaurant in a side street far better.

On a warm day with everyone sitting around enjoying a drink, chatting or eating it's the perfect picture of French living with the fountain in the middle. Wet days it looks a tad miserable - like everywhere!

Average market with nothing outstanding and all prices slightly more elevated than small towns in the area. Cafes around the edge and OK a small coffee being between 2.60 and 3.50 euro (around 2.40 in surrounding villages. Pleasant square but nothing exceptionnel
