We walked in from our hotel, and as soon as we entered were lost in a maze of narrow, twisting streets with something new to see at every turn. Lots to see and do, we stayed in and ate out in the evening and still didn't see it all.

Citadele in Montpellier is an interesting example of Gothic architecture. Take a camera and take beautiful pictures.

Wander through the small narrow streets to get a feel for the old city with it's cobbled and steep slopes and old buildings. It's free to do , you'll pass plenty of cafes and bars and see some history on the way . There's no formal route but the area near Saint Anne upto the jardin des plantes and across... More
