The abbey is touted (sorry, advertised) widely as one of the top tourist attractions in the area, so, to be honest, my expectation wasn't too high. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything about the place is very well presented and, obviously, a lot of effort...More

We visited the place on a Monday and it was well worth it. The monastery has a beautiful garden and also the interior is worth seeing. I recommend to take the audio guide when you don't speak French.

Beautiful buildings and amazing gardens. The rose garden is particularly wonderful. Ponds with goldfish and both a Sharon Fruit and Pomegranate trees. Several lovely walks in the grounds and some that God further afield too. Would definitely recommend you visit.

An important site in the history of Catholicism in southern France. It also offers wine sales, an on-site restaurant, interesting gardens and an opportunity to do some scenic hiking.
