Situated in the 'quartier historique de la Cite' - a dog free zone. Don't worry, park the car in a shaded parking on the 'Quai Louis Goujaud' leaving you free to explore. The gardens are spacious with bizarre sculptures scattered around.

These botanic gardens are nice, but appear to be a little bit neglected. The lower terraces are a bit dry. The fact that the garden has got lots of stairs makes it exciting to walk, but a big challenge for strollers and wheelchairs.

Terraces overlooking the river are well planted and also provide good views of the cathedral and the 18th century bishops palace.

Well laid-out and -maintained gardens. Other areas of the city appeared a bit neglected, but there was work going on here and it was a delightful environment.

We went into the gardens after visiting the cathedral. This was right up my street. Beautifully laid out and with degree of informality I found refreshing. The gardens seem to go on and on and we found a shady bench to eat our baguette lunches,...More

C'est ouvert toute la journée effectivement et l'accès gratuit. Par contre, il y a des grilles à l'entrée. Donc, je pense que les horaires sont les mêmes que celles de la cathédrales? (fermeture vers 19h?)
