This is my kind of museum: small, in a gorgeous old home, and with tons of variety (art, furniture, glass, stained glass, etc). The collection is exclusively Art Noveau which worked for our multigenerational group. Definitely not for small children. We couldn't enjoy the grounds because it was too cold :(

Well worth a visit if you are a fan of Art Nouveau. Many amazing and beautiful pieces on display. We were curious about the gazebo-aquarium in the garden, but it was not open. The museum was well worth the 6€ we paid.

As our main reason for visiting Nancy was the city’s wealth of Art Nouveau buildings and artefacts, our visit to the Ecole de Nancy Museum was one of the highlights of our stay. The museum is housed in a former residence of industrialist Jean-Baptiste Eugène Corbin (1867 - 1952), who was a patron of Ecole de Nancy Art Nouveau artists... More

Nancy attracted us mainly so we could see its Art Nouveau heritage but this is the only building of the style that you can visit most days, and its displays are not very inspiring

Although a little bit away from the centre make the effort to visit. the rooms are full of incredible furniture and objet d'art and the displays of glass out of this world. Do take the audio-guide on your tour

Walked a long way to get here but it was definitely worth it. Tastefully done to still feel like a home but crammed with all sorts of beautiful things. Some breathtaking items especially large pieces of furniture and stained glass. Loved the bathroom- well OTT. The garden is also worth a leisurely stroll even in Autumn .Not to be missed.

Nancy is famous for art nouveau works, and this former home of a wealthy collector is full of them. Most of the collection consists of furniture, glass and pottery by Emile Galle, and it is a joy to see. It is a bit of a drive from the heart of the city. Take a taxi or your GPS

I knew little about the 'Nancy School' of Art Nouveau before my visit, really an interesting museum - make sure to take in some of the neighbouring streets with their architectural gems when visiting!

Since the building was not built to be a museum but the home of the artist E. Corbin, it is a bit crammed. However, a lot of furniture, paintings, glass art is exhibited. We missed textiles. Don't forget to visit the garden!! Best of all is the Japanese style house in the garden which used to house an aquarium. Very... More

This museum was the main reason we visited Nancy, as my companion is enamored of art nouveau, and this, literally, is its home. It was worth the detour and the rather long walk from Place Stanislas. A mansion built for a department store magnate, it houses all sorts of art nouveau expressions, from paintings to pottery to furniture. The labeling... More
