Walked a length of the canal side path, it was a bit dingy, ok you can get a good view of architecture rising up from the opposite bank, but theres nothing special about this experience, just handy to get from one place to another.

It is amazing that you can escape noisy traffic in just a few steps, and that the temperature can drop so quickly. It is a welcome stop that allows you to collect your thoughts and reflect on a wonderful city.

Eventhough there are busy streets from two sides of this canal, you can still get a relaxing moment with stunnig view of trees, little bridges and water. Worth to visit any time!

Trees, paths on both sides, this is a gorgeous walking and cycling area. Connects up with the old brick circular port that links the Canal du Midi with the Canal de Garonne.

A very mild 17 degrees with blue sky and sunshine ensured a pleasant stroll along the leafy canal. Lots of joggers passed me by, plenty of locals also enjoying the calm, tranquil scene. Enough seating on either side of the towpath to contemplate. Dogs catered...More
