An unusual collection of watches, clocks, porcelain and an extra exhibition of Victorian optical illusions which was underwhelming. However there was an amazing glass chandelier and an automated clock which was amazing in detail and made the visit worthwhile.

This small museum is in a quiet side-street, quite close to the Carmes metro station. It has an odd collection of various decorative arts. You start on the ground floor with some small religious artefacts and a recreated pharmacy. Then to the basement, where there are some medieval religious statues and a collection of local earthenware plates and vases. Finally... More

I really enjoyed a visit to this compact museum full of fascinating items. The museum takes up 3 floors of a pretty building and only has 9 rooms. It means that you can see everything there in about an hour. Here are a few positive and negative points to help you decide if it's worth your time: POSITIVE - I... More

We visited this museum on a recent stay in Toulouse, it's quite small but I found the artefacts to be of high quality. I especially enjoyed the old pharmacy shop and the collection of clocks and watches on the first floor. Entrance fee is €4, we spent around 40 minutes looking around.

Turned out that there were more than 1 or 2 closed. Quite honestly, we can't see any reason to visit even if it is completely open. The... More

Fairly underwhelming collection, although the display of Victorian era jewelry was interesting. The guards are aggressively suspicious and that tends to make wandering around a museum unpleasant.

Beautiful house full of an eclectic collection of artefacts including a huge number of decorative watches.
