Old church which is a bit dwarfed by the nearby cathedral but worth a visit.. The modern stained glass sits well in the antique setting. Very dirty and poorly maintained sadly.

Lovely church right in the middle of Caen. Undergoing lots of work but still accessible and worth a visit. Beautiful stained glass. Interesting to read the information they have provided around the church.

It's more a cathedral than a "church ", spacious vaulted ceilings,, and special alcoves over all to see. You get a real sense of history, here. And the pipes from the organ, amazing to see.

We found the church to be beautiful with statues, stained glass, the altar area, etc. We got a separate treat in that the organist was practicing so the place was filled with her music. Worth popping in!

Beautiful church not too far from the centre. You do. Red to give it a little while to absorb all the detail but it's well worth the effort.

St Pierre is a good example of a church that has survived several priods of destruction or neglect to give a view of life and religion in Normandy. The story of the bells which are present on the ground floor is worth a look itself.

Restoration still continues on this delightful church - much damaged in 1944 but also the normal ravages of time on the stone of such an old church

The church was apparently damaged by the collapse of the spire into it during WW II. It has been beautifully restored. The ceiling carvings are unusual and must not be missed.

Outside this is a really beautiful church with a fantastic tower and dozens of gargoyles. Unfortunately the tower is scaffolded currently so you cannot appreciate how beautiful it is. (I was here last year as well) Inside - well its gloomy and dark - not...More

Really pretty. Well worth a visit. We went late afternoon and it wasn't to busy. We did find parking a bit tricky but everything is within walking distance in that area anyway. :)
