Beautiful, beautiful gardens. However when Claude set his patch out, he hadn't accounted for half a million visitors a year. Tip - get there at least half an hour before it opens (at 9.30am) or you could be standing in a very long queue, or...More

Although already world-famous, Claude Monet's house and garden exceeded my expectations. The combinations of colours were spectacular. The house gave a fascinating insight into his life and his thinking. I would advise any visitor to be at the door shortly before it opens and to...More

We went there midt May on a sunny Sunday, quite busy, long que for tickets, but at the entrance for groups you could also buy single tickets, no que. The garden was lovely with flowers most in blue and purple, which is my favor -...More

Absolutely beautiful gardens and ponds. But as others have stated, buy tickets in advance. We got there on a Friday morning shortly after opening at 9:30 AM. Parking wasn't too bad but there were already about 150 people in line waiting to buy tickets. We...More

It's fantastic in the spring. Your milage will vary other times of the year. If you have a choice, go on a weekday (non-holiday). It will always be a bit of a crowd in the spring, but you can minimize it that way. - Go...More

DO NOT try this day trip on your own! Book a day trip. Most leave Paris at 8am and are back by 1. It may be 2x the cost of train/bus/entry fee but completely worth it. We paid 75€ and spent our whole day in...More

Look up the official website which gives you full information about prices, there are different rates depending on your ages, how many you are, etc. I definitely recommend the online booking and trying to get there as early... More

The gardens open at 9:30, that's probably why there was a time. I would suggest getting there by opening, as the lines get longer. Also, go immediately to the pond area so that it will be less crowded and you can get better... More

My friend and I went to the gardens the second week in October 2016. We were surprised at how lovely the gardens were. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Allow plenty of time to wander and enjoy.
