The cathedral is very long, therefore big. Big portions are quite dark, but it looks like it was done on purpose since several religious statues are lit by spots, making them stand out. It's a nice play with lights. As cathedrals go, it's pretty drab, but that's due to the WWII bombardments. It's an interesting 1 hour visit.

I have been to Saint Pierre Cathedral in Lisieux twice, and I love the peaceful energy there. My husband and I visited once on a weekday in November and no one was in the building - candles were lit and we were able to do a walking meditation and spend time praying, it was a phenomenol experience!

Impressive cathedral. It is situated next to a park and the court. All are worth visiting. The cathedral itself is beautiful and well maintained.

Really impressive XII-XIII Cathedral. Thick columns, numerous arches, high and bright vaults give grandeur and historical greatness. Sometimes it's good to touch magnificent architecture and historical heritage and understand that such greatness was created by small human.

Situated next to the square and the gardens this beautiful cathedral is well worth a visit, in my opinion the inside is stunning! Follow the blue trail from here around Lisieux to see many other historic buildings and the gardens.

Beautiful cathedral, information available in lots of different languages. Information about all the artefacts inside in English. Easy to find, and right in the centre of Lisieux. No charge for entry, but a donation box just inside.

It's like walking into history. The places you of changed but the history is here to see. Here you can see 600year old doors and bricks that have moved in the same time frame. Love old chirches c and all they can show.

Ii sang here with the Taunton Deane Male Voice Choir. Whilst the tower above us absorbed much of the sound, it was a great place to perform.
