Take time to visit this lovely 15th century church, the only one in France made entirely of wood that is hundreds of years old. The entire town is picturesque, with its quaint harbor, buildings, cobbled streets and shops. Would love to have spent more time just wandering around.

The only Church in France that is completely made of wood and is hundreds of years old. It is simply amazing that this structure is still standing until you enter and witness the craftsmanship displayed. A number one destination .

There can't be many wooden churches about, but this one is particularly fascinating. Inside, you can see the different periods of architecture for each half of the main church. Wooden shingles on the cladding are really well maintained too. If you like to visit churches, you have to see this one.

Part of our walking tour. Do not miss. The dedication of the ship builders to their commitment to their God is more than inspirational.

Unique wooden church. Definitely worth stopping in to see. With a price of free you can’t go wrong and will most likely be impressed.

While it is the largest wooden church in France, and the bell tower is in another building, it is just another church (not my thing). I saw it as part of a group tour.
