This church has been restored after the WW2 bombings and is beautiful. The damage has not been totally restored on the outside, so you get a feeling that it has been a short time since the bombings.

We happened upon this beautiful cathedral while wandering around the city. We wandered in and enjoyed a very nice 30 minute tour of the cathedral.

A really amazing cathedral that was badly damaged by bombs in 1944 but even now stands proud after being restored. Outer walls bear the bomb scars. Really worth a visit.

The architecture is fantastic and interesting to look at. Building has many features. Could use a little upkeep / restoration.

Intresting from the outside. Inside as a number of features to look at, but the main feature is the alter and the glass stained window on the LHS.

On a cruise and had a wander around Le Havre on our last day. The cathedral is definitely worth visiting. We never had chance to visit inside but the outside looked impressive.

The cathedral is from 16th and 17th centuries and is one of the oldest buildings in down town that partially spared by the Second World War bombings. You will recognize it on the street when you see the bell tower and the main façade Baroque...More

It is almost unbelievable that this was almost completely rebuilt after the war. There is a display of information on the devastation and rebuilding that you have to see to appreciate this. Visited with adult family, not teens!

Although completely restored, it gives you an idea of old Le Havre. And to be honest, for us it was the only worth while visiting place in the whole city. And that is not enough to go to this town.
