We visited for the 24hr race in June and was immediately impressed on the set up. They have plenty of people to help you get around also a few tractor trams to save the legs. We went for the whole week before the race and found access to every area unhindered. Hopefully we will return someday.

This is a great place to visit when it is quite as you can get to places you could only dream of visiting during the race. The only downside was it was raining heavily while I was there so I will have to go back again and hope the weather is better the next time.

A great place to visit whether a petrolhead or just visiting the area. Well signposted, so easy to find. The staff on duty were very welcoming. Take your time to work your way around the museum and then have a coffee and snack before going around again to see everything you missed then first time. When we visited there was... More

The reality is that our visit to Le Mans was to see the race circuit. Being able to drive right around the circuit on the parts that are public roads was amazing. To drive down Mulsanne Straight and stop at Mulsanne Corner for photographs was the highlight of the visit. Ironically my gps could not find the circuit.

We were over for the MotoGP. Turns out it was effectively a 5 day bank holiday weekend in France so it was party time. The campsite was something else. We will come for a long stint next year. The place just oozes history. A fantastic experience and we saw Maverick take his first podium in the top class. I'm sure... More

If you ever visit France and your in this area then you must stop by. I participated in the go-karting on the other side of the race track last week with some friends I was travelling with and it was epic. We started by warming up on the 230cc go-karts before doing a qualifier round. Once all that was out... More

Superb facilities, good viewing, clean and plentyful toilets. Good venue- wish it could host a F1 GP. Free admission for some events, others paid

Great day out looking around the museum at the amazing selection of cars on show. Information next to the cars is in English and French. On the day we went (Sunday) we were able to enter the race course for free to watch the races going on.

We visited the circuit (for free) after the completion of the 24H on bicycle race and could walk into the pits, pit lane etc.. We wanted a real tour the next day, but tours are only done on Saturdays and you will not be driven around the circuit on a tour.

If you like racing, no matter what type, this place is a must see! You can buy a cheap ticket (7 EUR) at the museum, which gives ju access to the outskirts of the track, where you can go explore and just enjoy the atmosphere.
