A family-owned company since 1885, Langlois-Chateau offers a unique tour of the entire winery, including a view of the vineyards, the pressing centre and the caves. The tour culminates in a complete guided wine tasting session in the boutique. The tour lasts one hour:*Act1, Wine school: a foundation course in oenology in our classroom,*Act2, Tour of Winery: pressing machines, Tanks, vats,*Act3, Tour of caves, 300meters to discover the "traditionnal method".*Act4, taste whites (Saumur Whites, Sancerre...), Rosés (Cabernet de Saumur...), reds (Saumur, Saumur Champigny), and our sparkling Crémants de Loire.

We took the tour and school (l'ecole) and learned a lot even in French. It was a fascinating tour exploring the caves, the manner of making wine, and the school. We really enjoyed our visit so much!!More

The wine tasting experience with Pierre was excellent - he was well qualified and spoke very good English when my French was lacking! The Sancerre was so good we bought a few cases.

A group of friends went on the short tour of Langlois for 2.5 euros and found it friendly and informative. After our tour of the caves we enjoyed a wine tasting.

Langlois-Chateau offer the possibility to attend Wine school and then visit their production site to discover all about wine production and how it is done! Great visit and learnt a lot ! Great wine tasting of course afterwards! I definitely recommend going here !

Lovely spot with a VERY friendly reception! They also offer an informative guided tour that looks very interesting, to be done by appointment only during low season. We will be signing up of we have the time! Delicious wine as well :-)
