A very worthwhile collection of armoured vehicles, memorabilia and models of all kinds. Some looped videos showing also, for french speakers. We got even more out of this exhibition than we expected as it's huge inside. There is also a very good gift shop.

Stunning place with a huge amount of armour and vehicles. Even includes a cutaway of a tank to show the crammed interior with mannequin at their stations. The tiger tanks are huge. No cafe but an interesting gift shop. My partner who doesn't like museums...More

Even if you're not interested in armoured vehicles this museum is worth a visit. It is extremely well laid out and cleverly takes you on a journey through history.

Good museum the tanks are impressive . Good history and displays most of the displays cover WW2. More of a focus on tanks up to the 70s. Shop is good with lots of merchandise. Definitely worth a visit if in saumur.

A very good visit, but it is a bit out of the way, and many of the information signs appear to be very outdated. The newer "special exhibits" only have information in French.
