This is the street to walk if you have but a few hours to enjoy Aix. Sit for a coffee and watch life pass by (drinks are overpriced, of course, but what the heck), see the street vendors Tues. Thurs and Sat.. Aix is an...More

The Cours is very well located in terms of the historic district, cafes, restaurants, strolling, etc. The only issue would be for non-smokers because the cafes and restaurants on...More

Aix's main drag. Lots of cafes, great for strolling and people watching. Take your time walking down this lovely street.

Nice promennade, lot of nice caffe bistros along. Parking is located in the vicinity of main square, easy to reach. Good and fair priced restaurants on both sides. Not as nice as Montpelier, but has spirit of Provance. Place you would like to visit again

Wonderful broad street with wide sidewalks. The shady side is populated with banks and shops while the sunny side is Bistro's and restaurants. Very safe and fun to take a lazy stroll on a sunny afternoon!

Feeling a little subdued after the street attacks throughout Europe. But strong security in place with numerous concrete bollards.

Absolutely recommend to go for a walk in the area that is so of the Basye's and full of everything you might need! From shopping and restaurants to coffee bars this is the place to be!

elegant mansions, great cafés, interesting and beautiful fountains grace this historic avenue. Markets line the sidewalks, offering calissons, the specialty of Aix, and other tempting items.

Most historic sites are open especially tourist destinations. It's very much like 4th of July so mostly a business holiday, some museums may be closed so check ahead with the local Bureau de tourisme
