We were lucky to have a guide or I think that we might have not appreciated all the history in the city.

We had a lovely day walking around the old town taking in the atmosphere and having a look at the shops and bakeries, the fountains were also very beautiful!

We visited Vieil Aix on a number of occasions and found it to be very atmospheric. A visit to the cathedral is a must.

Interesting museum visit in classical house with paintings, puppets and ceramics. Information available in foreign languages. Worth spending 30 minutes.

Not really exciting as architecture and ordinary. Perhaps the history will enliven it. We saw this place by chance, and by the way so do not go out of the way to view it.

A must see in Aix en Provence. A beautiful spot not to be missed as one strolls in town. Architecture are beautiful with figurines all over to be discovered.
