Visited in August - Walked from the old town, which is quite a way in the heat, and there are not many places to stop or shelter from the sun. You could stop off at the narrow beach near by, and cool your feet in...More

We visited fort on a short visit to Antibes. It was nice and had great views. It was not that busy when we visited. There were group tours but we were very tired so just looked around on our own.

This fortress is the largest building of its kind on the French Riviera. Here are interesting excursions. The Fort is beautiful by itself and gives stunning views of the coast.
