Not that beautiful as other old towns in the area. It is nice for dinner or a drink if you stay in Cannes.

Was told that this is the place to go. Sweet cobbled road uphill to several cosy looking restaurants. We picked the liveliest as we all do. Very cosy salon and attentive service. Reasonable priced set meal. But made by cooks not chefs. Plates pre made under the grill. Quick turn around no real complaints but can't recommend and this one... More

It is a bit of a walk to get to the top near the old Cathedral but it is worth it and I suggest you stop off at either a restaurant on the way there or down. Truly reminiscent of an old French Medieval village. Makes a very good coupling to the modern and glamorous vibe in Cannes

Cobbled streets, quaint window boxes, tiny cafes with delicious menu offerings. Wear comfortable shoes please.

Lucky enough , we spent our only night in Cannes at the charming Hotel L'Olivier , just about 5 minutes walk from top of The Suquet (See separate review) . We walked the Suquet 4 times : 1. in the late cold and windy evening of our arrival , we walked down the ancient Suquet all the way down the... More

If you appreciate old buildings and narrow cobbled and winding streets, then you will be thrilled to walk through le Suquet. I visited during the day, and did not see many restaurants around. I did not reach far in my walk because it seemed empty at the time, but I might have missed to see other things in le Suquet.... More

Le Suquet is definitely a climb but it was worth it for the views when you reach the top. There is also a museum which you can spend a bit of time in. Once we got up there, we saw that there are mini tours that take you up there as well. There are also historical streets along the way... More

The climb up the ancient streets from the old port of Cannes is well worth the effort. There are numerous attractive restaurants and quaint streets and alleys to be seen. At the top is the Castre Museum, which was closing (at 1 pm, maybe just for lunch) and an ancient church (closed when I was there), as well as the... More
