We were there during the film festival and it was crowded but very enjoyable. My wife love being amongst the glitz and glamour. The red carpet, the buildings, the beach and the boats make the area unique.

La Croisette offers a great walk along the Mediterranean coast as well as a number of restaurants. If you walk towards the west, you will get to the convention that hosts Cannes film festival and Cannes old city
