Departing from Cannes, the boat trip to Iles de Lerins takes only 15 minutes. The island is crowded with tourists, but the surroundings are very nice.

A respectfull visit to the tiny Crimea War cemetary on Sainte-Marguerite is a must. Try to visit the islands off season. They are unique

Yes in fact as debbie said go by train NOT by bus (the train station is like 10min walk) from the port of cannes in order to go to monaco/montecarlo .... 45min to get there and beware the last train is at 11h30 pm if u take... More

Not too far, walking distance, minutes. You need at least 3 hours, island is pretty small but .... you'll see. Enjoy.
