We took the path from Eze village to the Eze train station as we. Used the bus to Monaco! The path was quite rough but worth it for the great views. We went downhill which made it easier. Would strongly advice appropriate footwear as the path is a bit rough. At a leisurely pace need to keep aside 45 -60... More

Decided to descend to Eze train station from Jardin castle.. Was difficult due to u level ground and rocks.. Luckily was wearing proper shoes.. Felt sorry for the poor souls climbing up oblivious to the difficulty.. Took about 45 min to descend, while going up would definitely take more.. The views on the way down really aren't worth it.. Running... More

the path is steep and rocky, the steps uneven and in places little more than rocky scree. A lot of the path is in deep woodland so there's not much of a view - but where it does open up the views are spectacular. Make sure to wear good walking shoes - this cannot be done in flip flops or... More

The path is said to take one hour on the way up and 45 minutes to walk down from Eze village. I did the descent and it really was almost exactly 45 minutes. The route is pretty obvious but there also are blazes of yellow paint on the rocks or stone walls from time to time to reassure you that... More

We were told to visit Eze so we took the train from Nice (15 minutes) and alighted at the station. We could not see what the fuss was about, a nice beach but as for the rest of the place it as dull as dishwater. Alas, the picturesque village is not near the station but is about 400m up an... More

One of the best hikes in Riviera, enjoy the old towns and forest. Beautiful views to the sparkling sea.

We did the downhill walk. It took about 45 minutes. Don't be fooled that downhill is much easier- it has it's challenged too! Make sure to go all the way down to the beach as it a nice reward!!

This footpath connects Eze village with Eze -sur -mer, has sharp rocks, steep steps and takes about 1 hr hiking down so more to go up. There are no views as you are in forest until last 5 min. at the bottom. One definitely needs hiking boots. I saw a few others hiking up in regular shoes, felt bad that... More

Time estimates for this walk ranged between 1-1.5 hours. We're a family of 4 with an 11 and 9 year old, moderate fitness and we completed it in 45 mins (up) and 30 mins (down). It was dry and fairly cool (but sunny) as it was the end of Feb. I wouldn't attempt it on a hot day or when... More
