I've never tried original chocolate mousse before. It is made of real cocoa butter and seed. And its totally different from anything named Chocolate Mousse in the shops or restaurants. Slightly bitter but really tasty and natural!

Our small group visiting Grasse had a local guide otherwise we might have missed this interesting little place. A young lady explained in English the history and process of making chocolate, whilst we were offered delicious free samples to taste. An unexpected but sweet surprise.

Grasse is a quite a heavenly little town, lovely old centre, lovely people and of course a world centre for perfumes. Not knowing about Duplanteur in advance, it was a complete surprise to come across it in the old town. We only popped in to...More

Maison Duplanteur has been open for 2 years according to the friendly shop owner. The first thing I noticed walking in there was the pleasant aroma of roasted cocoa beans behind glass windows at the back where all the chocolates are made. What I like...More

We thank you very much for your comment which is completely justified. We unfortunately had a serious technical problem with our machines at that time which significantly slowed down our chocolate production. We again thank you and will be happy to greet and assist you...More

A must visit in Grasse. Ask Celian to show you how chocolate is made. The people running his enterprise are super friendly. Free chocolate tasting too!
