The park seemed to be in good condition. Many of the issues mentioned in the bad reviews seem to have been addressed. -The elephant enclosure has a sign explaining that they are expending it and adding a pool The hippo had a decent size pool as well. -No animals seemed to be malnourished or unhappy. - Perhaps some people who... When we arrived on the parking lot in the morning of September 14th, there were about 4 cars there. Very quiet, max 15 people were visiting the zoo that morning. Starting with the first animals, I thought the panther and leopard looked stressed and bored, both in a very small cage. (The positive thing was, you could really see them... More

When reading some reviews, I was a bit skeptic on what to expect. However, I didn't have the impression that the animals were kept in bad conditions (for lions and tigers it was better than what I have seen elsewhere). Good place to see a lot of animals from very close.

I can't quite believe that the authorities allow this zoo to remain open. The chimpanzee was distressed, the llama had a serious eye infection, birds so distressed their feathers fall out, the poor elephant rocking backwards and forwards with mental health issues, primates fighting each other and enclosures all completely neglected. Please close down and regime the animals or invest... More

Our toddler loved it, but the whole area seems a bit shabby and not so well kept. There are a variety of animals which is impressive - white tigers, lions, hippo, different monkeys etc etc, but we questioned the conditions and health of some of the animals. Especially the hippo seemed sick.

Several cages are empty, animals don't seem properly cared for. The overall impression is not good as if money was missing for a zoo of this side.

I didn't look this place up on here before visiting, but once there, I thought I had to post a review. The zoo is, by UK standards, terrible. The enclosures are really small, the whole place looks unloved, the animals are probably technically OK, but have little to do and little space to do it. One of the Lions was... More

Never again am I going there. It was in winter and the animals were unkempt and listless and looked really unhappy.
