If possible one should try to go when an office is being held - the Orthodox choir and the service is quite a unique experience in a particularly beautiful Russian cathedral.

Considered # 1, because: 1) It’s the biggest Russian church in Europe – outside Russia 2) It is indeed so spectacular that it was adopted by the French government as its own historic and cultural monument 3) There are two more Russian churches in Nice, and nearly every town in the French and Italian Riviera has one of its own... At first saw this church at the magazine in airport. Though it was in Saint Peterburg in Russia. Very beautiful and and extraordinary in the context of the city. Nevertheless not entered inside due to the Sundays 12 o'clock mast.

It looks like someone from the sky put this church to Nice because it's completely different from other buildings there. It's beautiful, typical Orthodox, with a big, nice garden in front.

Even if you have seen a lot of cathedrals you have to see this one. It is different than the rest. Beautiful inside and out. It's a good walk from the Gare Ville but manageable. It's is worth the walk.

Well worth a visit even though it is rather off the beaten path, being north -west of the railway station. You can walk there from the station. It costs 10 euros for a guided visit in English so we decided to just look around on our own. The interior and the religious icons are fantastic.

Very unusual for here, reminded us of Cathedrals we have seen in Russia. Didn't get to go inside, but nice to observe the architecture from outside.

We read that this Cathedral is one of the most beautiful Russian Cathedrals outside Russia. Having seen some other orthodox cathedrals in Russia, I must say that this one is definitely beautiful. It is located in a nice green area of the city, and you cannot see the building untill you're actually in front of it. Its "hidden location" makes... More
