One of my favourite stops during our trip to Nice. And its free. There is the option of taking the elevator up, but the climb is a lot of fun if your knees are up to it. The views along the way are definitely worth...More

This is a must do, it's a fair climb but plenty seats and stop points to have a rest and take pictures.

Definetly the best view in my opinion. And take the stairs, you're age or form doesn't matter. It's good for you and you have good views on the way. When you get up you can continue into the park on the hill, there's also an...More

There was once a medieval castle on top of the huge limestone rock at the far end of Nice but it was pulled down long ago. There are now steps which you can climb to get to the top of the rock or Hill, or...More

It is a great place to enjoy beautiful views of Nice: Promenade des Anglais from one side and the port from the other side. The best way to get up and down is to use a free of charge lift, located at the bottom of...More

The view is well worth the climb. I counted 214 steps on the way down to the Quai des Etats-Unis. It is a much easier climb leaving from Place Rossetti or Place Centrale.

Once on top I felt a little disorientated with very little to do. Easilly to access and they cover for most abilities to get to the top but not really much to do.

The climb isn't that bad at all. You get a wonderful view from midway as well, if you choose to stop and climb. If you are in the area, definitely worth the climb

This is a spectacular site close to the town and accessed either by a long steady walk or for a more relaxed approach by a very efficient free lift. Once you reach the summit the gardens are very relaxing and the 360 degree views breathtaking....More

Its a bit of a climb but well worth the effort to ascend the stairs and take in the marvellous views along the beach and over the harbour. Refreshments are available at the top of the hill and the presence of a skilful accordion player...More

Hi! The stairs have no gates, so you can go there any time of the day. Just be careful with the stairs if it’s dark! And note that there are several stairs to the hill.

It is about 1 mile from the main train station to the entrance. There is a lift. Use google maps to show the route and the distance
