This historic part of Nice feels like a medieval village with narrow streets curving between old buildings with red-tile roofs, small restaurants and open-markets.

Great place to waste the day away chill eat and drink. Make sure to explore all the alley ways. Definitely going back there tomorrow.

The old part is really busy with tourists so kinda hard to get the feel of it. Great ice cream places such as finnochio are a must but so far the restaurants are sub par and cater to a non discriminating audience.

Lovely area for lovers of history and authentic atmosphere. A veritable maze of tiny streets and alleyways- very confusing and easy to lose your way, but that’s part of the fun. The architecture is lovely and slightly shabby. Area of and around the flower market...More

A splendid area to wander in and to eat and drink. Getting lost is a pleasure. A fantastic flower market, persuasive shops and a general air of lively fun. Cute and friendly dogs are everywhere!

I walked this street everyday when I stayed in Nice. I can find many good restaurants, nice flea market and shopping here.

Nice old town is my favourite part of Nice. Quirky old buildings with lovely markets and restaurants

There are quaint shops here, but mostly Italian food. There is not a lot of French food. Very fun to walk around in Nice.

Have just finished organising a conference in Nice and we ate at Le Grand Balcon and Marcel Bistro Chic. Both have the same owner and are truly fabulous. Different styles with the latter being a little more intimate. Fabulous food and superb service.
