Why oh why, everywhere I go in the world am I hounded by these horrendous ruddy things? Honestly, can you think of anything worse than a pretend old train ferrying people to lazy to walk anywhere. Also, doesn't really go to any of the interesting parts.

We have been to Nice before but never been on the Le Petit Train. Would recommend. Good for taking photos.

We rode this train as part of the Riviera Pass ticket we bought for the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour, so it was included in the price. The train zips through the Old Town and up to Castle Hill. It stops at Castle Hill for only 10-15 minutes, so there's not much time to do anything up there except... More

This tour is boring unless you like a let of facts and figures. So much more easier to get around by foot or tram

We thought at first that 10 euros each was a bit too much but I was SO wrong! The train goes through all the twisty back streets - what a skilfull driver! - and then down the prom to the port. After an about-turn it then heads back to the main town and climbs the steep hill to the castle... More

We walked by the train, but it passed us and didn't return as we were walking along the promenade English in nice in May 2012 on a beautiful sunny day. Since we didn't know when it was to return, we decided to just walk instead. It did look fun though and would saved my injured leg from our Italian tour... More

The weather during our visit wasn't great, but taking this 1.5 hour trip was well-worth it. The trip to the top of Castle Hill was the best part. The driver was a little grumpy and the headphones were absolutely filthy (didn't use them) - but the sights alone were enough, even without the description.
