This is a beautiful harbour, so picturesque! The yachts that are docked here are unbelievable, some are the size of small ferries, complete with helicopters. Very interesting to see up close and personal! What a great harbour to stroll around and people watch, it's very active and busy. I saw a Mercedes McLaren with a silver mirror paint job parked... The harbour is the place to wander and see all the huge yachts owned by the rich. It's a great place to spend a day wandering about, having lunch or a drink in one of the many harbour restaurants and cafés and watching the yachts come and go.

The day we visited there was a yacht race being held, so the harbour was worth visiting and watching the boats.

Very typically southern french looking with the terracotta washed walls and the soft blue window shutters it is a beautiful site to see when arriving by boat (bateaux verts from Ste-Maxime). The quaint winding streets were just as stunning and made you feel a world away from the normal bustling streets of a modern town. This was October though so... More

I think this is one of those places best left as a dream. In reality it's okay but nothing special. Clearly there's a lot of money afloat with accompanying over priced restaurants and shops to match. It has it's quaint parts but a bit disappointing.

I was expecting to be wowed, and while it was nice, and there was a harbor with REALLY nice boats, it didn't seem all that great or different. There were a bunch of little touristy shops, some higher end shops, some pricey cafes and many artists selling their paintings. There also seemed to be a lot of people around for... More

Try driving onto St.Tropez. Either you re French, and live with the illusions that some others drive worse than yourself, or you love it to move at 2 kms an hour, searching for a place to park your car. Chance? almost ZERO. Otherwise leave your car far away and try to walk into the harbour area, but along narrow roads... More

If your not into luxury shopping I'd recommend grabbing a snack (creperie near the church where st Tropez is buried) and enjoying it on the pier with views of st Tropez & the bay.

Lovely harbour to wander, people watch, look at impressive yachts and eat an ice cream. However extremely expensive to sit in any of the cafes, bars and restaurants along the harbour front! You are paying a huge premium for the location amongst the glitz of St Tropez.
