An easy walk through a very nice landscape with amazing views all around. You can do short and longer walks. I advice decent shoes if you want to go to the top.

Thank you Gunnar O for your comment. Indeed, it is better to plan good shoes!

This is an interesting natural beauty spot surrounded by vineyards, it is impressive the way the Roc of Solutre and its sister rock Vergisson stand out above the horizon.

This location is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and is truly stunning in the Fall when the vines change colors.

In a quiet short walk around the rock, you can have a great view on the amazing landscape around. Best to do in autumn. You can also try the rock of vergisson.

Overlooking the vineyards of Pouilly-Fuisse, this is one of those short walks you just have to do. The views from the top are great - you get to survey the surroundings in a 360° arc, and it is a worthwhile picnic spot - unfortunately a...More

We hiked up the short route, which had several short steep scrambles, seeming to end at the base of a single-pitch rock face. While we wished we had brought climbing gear, we were not prepared for it (several permanent anchors were in place for support...More

We really enjoyed climbing the Rock of Solutre. We got slightly confused initially and went up to the top car park (which is larger) and then came back down to the other smaller one which is hidden away carefully behind trees - both free, no...More

A very fulfilling walk to the top. The terrain is not difficult, but we were there on a very hot day and EVERYONE was sweating (not just us!!). If you're travelling on a hot day do be sure to take plenty of water as there...More
