One of the better markets in the area. In addition to the fresh produce, try the cheese, olives, porchetta, homemade pastas and charcuterie. It is a festive time and easily maneuverable. A must visit in the area.

We traveled to St Remy on 28-09-16 only to find the market that day was moved to Arles due to the fair being in town, so we traveled to Arles 30 minutes away by car and attended the market there. Average at best. You will get a flare for the local culture and mix of french, north African and muslim... More

This open air market is half food vendors, half flea and craft market. Locals mix with visitors buying everything from the beautiful Provençal textiles and imported clothes to cheap electronics. And of course the food - beautiful fresh produce, fish, prepared paella, cooked sausages and of course, pastries. Great fun and a great place to find bargains.

Don't know what dates the market is scheduled to run (didn't seem to find it on trip Advisor), but when we went to find it on Wednesday, September, 28th, it was not there! We were so incredibly disappointed, as it had been reviewed all summer and even the week before. We had planned specifically for that day in Saint-Remy for... More

This market has everything, from food, clothes, object d'art etc. There are even two music groups playing and selling their recordings. Each year, it is interesting to see new items go on sale- this year, multi sized bottle caps in plastic, hair band fasteners, and jazz t shirts! Always very busy, as coach trips come in especially. Play the game... More

The market spreads out over the church square and along many streets of the old town. Offering both special and everyday items. Large variety of items for both locals and tourists. Some good deals, some not. It always helps to know your prices.

The market is nice and big. But it does not have that many local booth. A lot of the booth you can find them in any other french market. However it's one way to visit the city centre with some animation along the way.

Bustling market which has just about everything you need from fresh fruit and vegetables ,cheese, ,fish, lhats, clothes and shopping bags. But get there early as parking is at a premium. We arrived at around 8.30 and were just ahead of the main influx of locals and tourists. Parking was 5.60 euros for 4 hours, which was fine as the market closes... More

The Wednesday morning market in Saint Remy offers a huge range of goodies, great for picnics, kitchens, closets. We bought kitchen towels, slim olive cutting boards, fresh tomatoes, saucisson, bread, cheeses, nougat, visited the Cave du Sel for Camargue salt and a grinder. And there was so much more, ranging from hats and scarves to olive oil to clothing! Fun... More
