My wife and I visited here and wow, what an experience. The glass viewing platform wasn't open because of snow and cold temperatures,-25 deg c. The views are stunning, it's not a cheap trip but well worth it.

Can't compare with anything. It's just a must see when visiting Chamonix. Definately No 1 at Mont Blanc area.

This is a must visit for anyone in Chamonix! We stopped in Chamonix for four nights on our way to Italy. It is a beautiful place with so much to do, as it was June the scenery was picturesque. We decided that we wanted to take a cable car to get a good view of Mont Blanc and so headed... More

You cannot come to chamonix without visiting this amazing place. Make sure that you go on a clear day if possible to get the maximum from the trip.

The ticket to go up to Aiguille du Midi was expensive and it was a must see in here. We took the cable car to go up to summit with owesome view to Mont blanc, the peak of Europe

stunning view up there and very nice to look over the alp on this side, no doubt about it. However the system to go up there quite messy and took ages to get up there. We spent all day in the queue to get up to the top and spent only an hour on the top due to the queue... More

We picked a sunny day to travel up the midi. The views are amazing & well worth the trip up. The route is not particularly well signposted. We followed the cable car to find the station. Wrap up warm - it is VERY cold up there.

It might be a bit 'touristy' and a little expensive but worth every cent. The views were just amazing and the cable car ride up exhilarating. As others have mentioned, you can get a bit breathless at the top so take it easy and enjoy!

Spent a couple of hours here whilst skiing. Trouble Is if you go for a weeks skiing you want to ski morning and afternoon, as let's face it, lift passes are not cheap. That being the case it's often hard to find time to do other things. BUT if you do one touristy thing do this. The views are breathtaking... More
