A truly amazing experience... the view would have been worth it even if we then didn't ski the Vallee Blanche. By all accounts you can queue for a while for the gondola, however an early start got us up their in good time with only a 20-25 minute queue. I'd suggest this is a must do for anyone with an... Great trip although you can book online, it's. It easy and better to go there prepared as they can give you a time to go. Very cold up there so take thermals and a camera - sights are absolutely awesome and you can watch the braver souls climb down and then ski all the way back!!

We went on the trip on an impulse and don't regret. The ride up the peaks in the. Able cart was thrilling and fun. The views breathtaking and definitely a tick on the bucket list. It was nice to find a cafe up there for a nice warm bit chocolate to keep me warm. My partner suffers from vertigo but... More

I went up the aiguille di midi on my own as the rest of my party didn't want to miss a days skiing. Well, it was well worth it. If you have a full Chamonix pass it includes your trip up to aiguille du midi, make sure you get there early and also collect a pass from main ticket desk... More

An amazing place to see and a priority for anyone visiting Chamonix. The lifts close at 3:15 so make sure that you arrive beforehand. The best time is probably after 2pm once the queue's have died down.

This was a 'what to do before lessons start the next day?' Pretty expensive but free if you have the full Mont Blanc pass. Scary but enthralling experience. I felt pretty light headed right at the top- can't work out if that was the air or the height! You're 2.5m up so it's a wow experience above the clouds. The... More

On the to do bucket list, overjoyed as we had we clear blue skies which made the whole experience riding the cable cars breathtaking.... A must do in my opinion, you might encounter some queues but everything is well organised

Be sure to take the tram rides up to Aiguille du midi and take in the surrounding views of Alps including Mont Blanc towering just behind. On a clear day, you can view France, Italy, and Switzerland.

Not being a fan of heights, getting up to the top was challenging for me and took me out of my comfort zone completely, but oh was it worth it despite the stress and the cost! For €60 each you take two cable cars to the main area with the toilets, cafe, terrace etc, then a lift or stairs to... More

Amazing experience for a sunny day in French Alpes. There is a huge, cheap parking down next to the cable car which was nearly empty when we arrived on sunny Saturday in February. Although the return ticket costs 60euros, the whole journey is absolutely worth that money! We had beautiful weather and we visited the Aiguille du Midi in late... More
