A return trip is not the cheapest attraction in the world specially if you going with a family (altough family tickets are available). On a clear day on top of the second cable car you will see one of the most beautiful views of the alps so you will not regret paying the hefty price, bring binoculars so you can... More

When you visit during a sunny day you will see across miles away... It's good to join the queue as early as possible. 2 hours at top terraces are long enough but consider 3 max.

Take the tram and transfer midway. The views from the top are undescribable, like being in heaven. An experience that has to be lived at least once!

We visited the Midi whilst staying in Chamonix for a short breaks. The views at the top were staggering, and the queue to walk on the glass bottom platform was worth it. It does get busy though around late morning/lunchtime so try to get in early.

Outstanding and truly magnificent views on a clear day. This is a trip that will be long remembered after you arrive back at the valley floor. Mont Blanc is so close you feel as if you can reach out and touch it.....

What an impressive mountainous region. The views are spectacular and definitely worth taking a lot of pictures! It was breathtaking getting to the top of the Aiguille du Midi by the cableway (téléphérique in French). We had clear blue skies the day we got up there and thus got to appreciate the beauty of Mont Blanc and Chamonix. There are... More

We visited here whilst we stayed in Geneva. It's only a short bus ride. The village of chamonix is beautiful and cosy not to mention the magnificent view of the Alps. One could take the cable car up the peak and walk through the bridges. It's a great place to visit.

Nature at its best with a bit of tweeking by man. Despite being run by CMB, its ok. Needs a bit of investment

Mont Blanc provides a stunning backdrop to the town of Chamonix; but its only once you get up the Aiguille that you fully realise the scale of the massif and how challenging the conditions are for those hardy souls who are attempting an assault on the summit. The top station at nearly 4000m is like a small village quarried out... More
