ENJOY THE MOUNTAINS ! With its southern exposure, overlooking the Mont-Blanc Range, the Brévent is the ideal departure point for classic hikings and easy rambles to various mountain lakes (Lac du Brévent, Lac Cornu…)

We took the cable car early in the morning which was a bit of a problem since you're going to have the sun in your eyes. I would recommend to go in the afternoon if possible. In any case the view is incredible. Definitely worth...More

Unfortunately due to it being high season in August we had a very long queue for the cable car. Once at the top the view is wonderful, but then another long queue to come back down - with a couple of people barging past us...More

Excellent option to take the teleferic to Brevent instead of Aiguille du Midi, both in Chamonix. Less waiting time and great view to Mont Blanc and surrounding.

Came for a vacation in Chamonix. We wanted to go to see the Aiguille du Midi. The cable car was closed to Renovations. So we took the Brevent cable car. The price is a Little bit high buy the view worth it.

The cable car ride to PlanPraz, the halfway point, is a great place to watch parapente takeoffs. But the second ride, up to the top of Brevent, took us above the clouds to give us beautiful views of Mont Blanc coming in and out of...More

The smaller cable car to Planpraz and then the large cable are to Brevent offer spectacular scenery and efficient transport to views of Chamonix far below and across to Mont Blanc and the surrounding alps. Both lifts running frequently. The walk down from Brevent peak...More

No queue when we went in early August. The first part of the ascent is smooth and you gain altitude quickly. The second leg - the Brevent gondola - is spectacular provided you have a head for heights! Iconic views from each side, especially the...More

Hmm, it seems the prices for the lifts are in effect until 30 November. Perhaps just the opening and closing times change on 17 September? Sorry I don’t see any more certain information.
