I stayed at the Hilton, nice Hotel, great Staff & food. The Park Tete d'Or is just behind and has many attractions, zoo and beautiful botanical garden. Running around the park is great, also the convention center is just next to the river Rhone, there is a trail to walk or run into the city a few blocks away, this... More

Designed very beautifully with many large meeting rooms that is excellent for a meeting, but most of the doors are closed and you should walk a very long distance to be able to reach a Hall. Sometimes it is not possible to enter from the door that you just come out. Poor management made it uncomfortable for participants.

The convention center is large and has many casual eating options. There are a few bus lines that stop at the center. However, no metro and you will ride the bus a fair amount and then either walk a bit or transfer to get to many of Lyon's tourist areas.

Stayed here for a week for a conference. It was enjoyable, and nice. Got a bit tired of the food options in the end and went to the city on foot, bikes and bus. Takes about 30-45 minutes to walk to city centrum. There is a cinema around.

Hands on Cooking Class, Lunch or Dinner at Chef's Home. A metro stop from PLace Bellecour He teaches classes in English, has a wonderful home and kitchen (interesting day trip to his burg)... More

This is a huge place with huge buildings. It is located next to Museum of Contemporary Arts and a park. The best and easiest access would be using the C1 buses from the Gare Part Dieu Vivier Merle main station. Other buses are the C4 and C5. The cost is 1.60 euro if you buy from the vending machine and... More

Nice place to go for a drink and a small walk. To combine with the park visit.
