Came here on one of the good weather days. From the top of the hill you can enjoy spectacular views. Used the funicular to get to the top but i think you can also walk.

Enjoyed the views and sites we visited, went up the stairs about 12 -15 minutes and down the park/ garden route. Wear comfortable shoes.

There are two ways up to Fourvière, either the cute little funicular from Old Lyon which stops in the area of the Roman Amphitheaters or you can actually walk up. I saw people doing it as we were coming down but I would guess at...More

This place is very calm and serene. We reached here by Tram. There is a Catheral on the top which is beautiful. Takes around 2-3 hrs for a round trip from city centre

Don't leave Lyon without visiting Fourviere Hill. Take the teleferique from the old town and spend some time for this panoramic view of the city. I would suggest to return on foot through the forrest.

Sorry we didn't eat up there but you can easily get the funicular down to the old town only takes 10 minutes or so where there are dozens of restaurants!

Same answer as above as it`s quiet steep but if it folds you can fit it on the funicular. Good luck.
