Taking the Cologne Cable Car, (Kolner Seilbahn) is a great experience and well-worth the fee. There are great breath-taking views as it slowly travels up or down the hill towards the fortress.

This place offers a very good view of Cologne, especially the sunset from this place is perfect. But 3 minutes ride in one way costs 4,5 € for one person (both ways 6,5€), what is expensive for such a short ride.

After walking through cologne for most of the day this was a welcomed way to rest our legs. we wanted to visit the botanical gardens and thought this the best way to get there. At €4.50 each one way it was the most expensive transport of our trip but the views we got over the city made up for that... More

To and fro hardly takes 8-10 mins. Entrance price is 6.50 euros both ways. At one side its zoo and on other side its only sauna bath. View is of course nice as you see river, cathedral and other things. But nothing outstanding.

This cable car was one of my to-do list inn Cologne. It was a bit crowded and have to wait about 15 mins. to get your tickets. It was a great view and I enjoy it. It takes about 7 mins. for one way. Overall, it was a nice experience and good place to take panoramic photos of the river.

The line is really long but the of the city you get from the cable car is more than worth it. Don't take the cable car in the summer as it is extremely hot inside it (we had 22 C outside but we sweat a lot inside). Watch out ;-) : the cable car passes over a big water "parks"... More

The staff are very helpful and make sure you get the cheapest ticket for your group. The price is reasonable for a decent length journey. We got a round trip, getting off to enjoy some time in Rhein Park before heading back. You pass over a thermal spa which is partly naturist as you approach the Park!

We had only a few hours in Cologne and so decided to visit here. A quick hop on the S-Bahn and the cable car station is almost right next door to the S-Bahn stop. It wasn't too busy when we visited and the views were fantastic.
