This place offered us good time. We went to this spa during the night in March. We did enjoy it, as the place was warm enough although the weather wasn't. It has several pools and all of them all clean and very well designed. We strongly recommend visiting while visiting Freiburg.

Super clean and friendly staff. The people visiting speak mostly German or French - English not so much. The water is a lot kinder to the skin due to the thermal water, which is definetly a plus when you have so sensitive skin like me. The water is 36 degrees outside and the same inside - some pools have hotter... More

The Thermalbad is situated in a peaceful forest setting on the south side of Freiburg. When our family of four visited on a Wednesday around 6PM the lots were pretty full but the therme was not overly crowded - there must be other things nearby. Several people told us that the crowds were super light.... I thought it was just... More

When we went during Valentine's Day 2016, the weather was mostly rainy with a snow drop here and there. It was certainly very cold outside, but the warm waters of Keidel kept my temperature at comfortable levels while floating around outside. Aside from the interesting ceiling design, the inside is what you would typically find in other pool houses. What... More

While the thermal baths are pleasant - though not excellent for actually swimming - the sauna is the real reason to visit the Eugen-Keidel-Bad. There are several different saunas and a steam bath. All are clean and carefully maintained. The clientele is of mixed ages. The place is not crowded, but it is also not completely devoid of customers. There... More

If you want to make excessive swimming there is no spot. But different waters and facilities make it worth hanging out.preferably for friends or couples.

Not far away from the city center of Freiburg is this nice, quiet and relaxing spa resort. The thermal bath section is ok (though very nice on a sunny afternoon with kids and picnic) but the best for me is the sauna section. As a student you get a discount, otherwise it's a little pricey. The outdoor part (with "lake")... More

First of all, it was a great surprise, that the place had very good facilities for the children (like the comfortable family changing cabins, many places to sit and relax, compact area with the pools you don't need to look for the "disappearing" children) in not too rich for children Europe. Together with this, the place was absolutely quiet until... More

Also this year we returned to the Keidel Thermen with much anticipation, and we were not disappointed. The thermal baths were as lovely, relaxing and beneficial as ever. We recommend going during the week and preferably in the early afternoon, because during week end and in the evening it gets busy. Remember to bring your own towels to avoid having... More

The baths are easy to access via bus from Freiburg. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the outdoor pool which offers a few variations from a walking whirlpool, to bubble jets and the various heated levels. Good day out for something different than sightseeing.
