Stopped off here on a motorbiking holiday with friends as we were in the area. Well worth the stroll through the woods to get to the top. Great photo opportunities as there are bridges and observation spots as you climb closer to the top of the waterfall. The weather had been extremely hot and this was a nice chance to... More

Beautiful place that is a great escape from the real world. The Black Forest is a relaxing place that allows you to suck up the great outdoors! The waterfalls are filled with opportunities for beautiful pictures and a relaxing environment -- great view and good for your mental health!

We walked up to the waterfall from our hotel and followed some of the walking/running tracks through the forest. Very peaceful location with well made trails and plenty of wooden bridges. Wear decent shoes as the bridges are slippery when wet and covered in snow/ice.

Pretty amazed with nature as always. Had few hours stop at triberg visiting from titisee. Walk up to the falls was exciting as it was filled with frozen ice and made it very difficult to walk and climb the steep hill. No one fell though so it was ok. Water was frozen from the outside but can see the water... More

Worth the short hike up to the waterfall. When we were there it was a powerful sight as the water was high. There are several great vantage points for viewing and a bridge to walk over the top.

I decide to take the walk up to see the waterfall. Although it's really snowy out and there's ice covered, you could tell it was very pretty. All that said it wasn't really worth the time and money and less you had time to kill.

Was looking eagerly to view the highest waterfall in Germany and expecting to see something that was featured in the city guide obtained from the tourist information centre. Bought a 2.50 euro entrance ticket. Then followed the route to see the waterfall. Braving the cold, walking on icy road, we reach the site. However, what we saw was only a... More

This was not an adventure hike, nor a strenuous march, even with plenty of snow on the ground, the hike was not overly demanding, though for some out of shape and elderly visitors, the trek was probably the maximum they could handle, given the winter conditions. The waterfalls are not an absolute must-see such that you have to divert yourself... More

I visited the park and waterfalls in early January, a nice experience, almost no visitors. Prepare for considerable difference of heights, climb to the upper parking lot is physically demanding. But you do not need to go that far and high just to come to the water plant. I recommend the route in the pictures, you'll save in winter period... More
