This is a very large cathedral dating back to 1398 when construction began. I highly recommend climbing the Bell Tower for great views of Altstadt and Heidelberg Castle. I think it cost 2 Euro for an adult and climb is challenging but worth it.
The Heiliggeistkirche is beautiful. What really made it stand out for us was the half-hour organ concerts they have every Sunday-Friday at 5:15pm (Saturdays have a longer program at 6:15) from June-September.
