The little town of Mittenwald is nestled in a valley among mountains. The quaint houses with their painted facades provided the background for a lovely stroll. There's a parking lot across the street from the tourist information office.

One of my favorite stops on our trip. A beautiful Bavarian Village with lovely shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking and driving around. The violin museum is a must see!

There are many small Bavarian villages, but this one is especially pretty. So many of the buildings are painted with Bavarian scenes. There are many neat little shops and cafes. Worth an hour or two visit if you are in the area.
