The theatre is amazingly beautiful and a must if you come to Coburg. The "Schatzinsel" is another story...Mmmm...it is definitely a lightyear away from shows in London. If you feel like a little entertainment and merely a relaxing evening then see it.

The Landestheater is one of the place in Coburg, where you can still feel the long history of the city. It is a great place for events and has a very traditional stage with a lot of gold and textile. The sound quality is good...More

We went to see La Bohème and the show was fantastic but for me the elegance of the building was the highlight. Marble, stucco and luxe chandeliers. Dress up if you want to although it is not required! The central location has lots of options...More

Went to a production of the Vogelhaendler, loved it! Very central location, and reasonable prices at the bar. Good restaurants nearby for before and after.
