Simple but beautiful

Big variety of plants. Not fancy but very well taken care of. Always quiet. Great place to sit down and read a book!

It is the smallest of the three gardens of the university in erlangen : schloss garden, botanischer garten and the aromagarten. Not really that much to see here..and it is about 1-2 km away from the schlossgarden and the botanical garden..The nearest bustop is schwabachanlage..The surroundings of this garden is very beautiful and might be much more beautiful than this garden... Aromagarden is a bit hard to find, but it is a pretty sight even in Fall. Would be better if some descriptions were available in English though.

on the outskirts of Erlangen (little bit hard to find) is the collectoon of all kinds of herbs, you can try the aromas and stroll leisurely through the garden, if scientifically interested you'll find the latin names for the common names of herbs and spices, no entry fee, little bit unusual opening times

A beautiful garden close to Friedrich-Alexander-University with more than 120 aromatic plants which are used to produce oils, medicines, spices and cosmetics. Near to the garden you will find delicious coffee shops, shopping centers and restaurants. Really fascinating all the different kinds of beautiful flowers and the scent...a dream! It is worth visiting and I recommend!
