It likes an 1980 s museum without any updates: some sign has English, but the most doesnt. Not sure why it s randomly have few English sign. Overall, for no German speaking people, it s kind of waster your money and time, as the history and stories could not be well received. So not a good experience with kids,

The famous Museum is an outstanding location for all technically interested peoples. Some of the objects are really unique and milestones in history. It is not only an exhibition, it offers direct interactions by activationg experiments and live demonstrations in some departments. This is fun for children and adults and very informative. Kind of fun edutainment. Highly recommended is a... More

One of the best museums I have visited in terms of variety however be warned there are 6 floors - floors which are easily double what you would consider normal plus then there's up and down bits, meaning that in effect there's the equivalent of about 15 floors. Plenty of facilities as well eg toilets. Only disappointment I had was... More

This is an outstanding museum that should be among the top attractions in Munich. It is definitely better than the BMW museum. There are 500,000 square feet of exhibition space with the original U1 undersea boat with sections cutout to see inside. We didn't see all of the museum and will definitely visit it again when we visit Munich again.... More

disappointing, Not that much to see, plan to spend at most 1 hour. A bit dated. I'd only do if I'd done EVERYTHING else. Might be better if you have kids.

The museum is really extensive and very well organized into sections. You need one whole day (perhaps even more) to just go through the displays in various sections. What is exciting is the experiments and live displays they organize in various sections. There are interactive displays in most sections as well, making it really interesting and exciting for kids.

This museum has plenty for the whole family. Biggest issue is not all exhibits have signage in English, though most items are self explanatory. The exhibits do offer something for everyone.
