If you’re in Munich around lunchtime and want something cheap, go to the market. Large selection of food, and there’s a biergarten to hang out in.

This is a lively market with lots of food and craft stalls. Many stalls provide free food samples. A nice place to spend an afternoon.

One of the more delightful places we visited on our recent trip to Munich. A very charming area in the heart of town. Grab a beer, something to eat and sit and enjoy the best of Munich

Anything you could want all in the one market! Lovely for a wander around. Close to Marienplatz with many pubs, stalls with different foods, variety of handmade items etc. Nice place to mooch about.

I spent a little time here, got some juice and looked around. A few years ago we bought gifts here and probably would have done so again if we had had room in our luggage. The vendors weren’t the friendliest folks I had encountered in...More

...and soak up the atmosphere. We were amazed that one of the stalls also spent so much time laying out their stunning fresh fruit and veg.

I am recommending coming over this place. We just hung around and promise ourself coming back the next day. It's seem like a good mixture of locals and turists. Just have a coffee / beer / ice cream / small or big meal. Just come
