Maybe I was in museum -overload, having in previous days visited the Residenz and its Treasury (now THERE's a museum worth seeing), the Alte Pinakothek, the Deutsches Museum, and the previous week several others elsewhere. But this museum had a very confusing lay-out with little...More

On Sundays, the ticket costs just 1€. The building is impressive, and the exibitions are numerous. Worth the visit.

We popped out of a rainstorm into the museum, which then had long lines for tickets, but this seemed to go in waves on an Easter Sunday. The admission on Sundays seems to be only 1 euro, really incredible bargain. The art is eclectic, and...More

One of the most beautiful museum buildings of the world. Fantastic collection of modern art best presented. Multiple current high end exhibitions of paintings and design. In the neighborhood other museums with different focuses and many art galleries

Great museum of very modern art (ie post WWII). The museum itself was laid out well, the collection quite strong. Don't miss if you like modern.

Contemporary art museums are most beautiful temples of modern civilization. And this place have such a good ambient that you can breathe it.

The best pinakothek in Munich, they change some of the displays fairly often, and its €1 on sundays. Not as boring as usual museums.

The exhibitions pale into insignificance when all one remembers is multiple occasions of being treated in such an abominable manner by multiple members of staff. On being told I could not take my small handbag into an open exhibit whilst clearly other women had their’s...More

Yes on the ground floor. It doubles as a cafe and restaurant. The food was very good when I was there.
