I decided to visit the BMW museum on my way through Munich. What a mistake I made. As I entered I was greeted by the smell of what I can only describe as deep sea mackerel. It was like being in a fish and chip shop. As I entered one of the vehicles I was shocked to find that someone... More

Amazingly architectured and designed - the inside just as well planned and laid out. Unmistakable in the Munich skyline and in a well accessed position in Munich. We love it and are sure you will too!

The BMW Headquarters is in an interesting building that looks like 4 cylinders of a car engine. The building is a local landmark and was completed in 1972 in time for the 1972 Olympics (and the Olympic Park is just across the street). The 3 Series BMW car factory is next to the headquarters and this is a factory you... More

You just must go to the BMW factory tour when your visiting Munich. It's an interesting and much enjoyable 2 hour walk through the BMW factory in Munich. The English guide we got was fantastic, and told us more or less everything we wanted to know! This is a must! Remember to reserve your tickets well in advance, else your... More

BMW factory floor tour is an activity that will leave a lifelong impact on your perception of the level of automation that the auto industry has achieved and indeed how BMW have taken it to the next level. The english speak guide was well knowledgeable and did a great job in explaining the details of the whole assembly line.

If you are any kind of a fan of cars, industry, or technology in manufacturing, go to the Welt Center. Schedule a factory tour. Walk through and see all of the beautiful cars. Even have lunch in the restaurant overlooking the main floor. It's a great adventure.

We were lucky to get tickets to the Factory Tour that day. All of us were amazed to see the process of car manufacture from scratch. The almost exclusive use of robots in the first half coupled with complex human intervention in the second was mind blowing. The entire tour with the tour guide explaining each step was something we... More

Very cool building design, I wish I could see it from the top view to see the BMW logo. I did not gointo this building.

Concierge sent us there not knowing tour was sold out 4 days in advance. Epic fail. Toured the museum which was interesting. An experience like comparing the car to a Porsche. Good, just not as good...
