The museum is located in part of the remaining Nazi structure, most of which was never completed. The museum is informative and particularly good at explaining the rise of the Nazis and the personality cult around Hitler, as well as the significance of Nuremberg to the Nazis. For English speakers it requires the use of the audio guide which was... More

The Documentation Center Nazi Party Rallying Grounds (German: Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelände) is a museum in Nuremberg. It is in the north wing of the unfinished remains of the Congress Hall of the former Nazi party rallies. Its permanent exhibition "Fascination and Terror" is concerned with the causes, connections, and consequences of Nazi Germany. Topics that have a direct reference to Nuremberg... More

Was worth a visit, however found it a bit monotonous and boring after a while to be honest. It was just board after board with writing on in German so basically just had to go through and listen to the audio guide. It was interesting but got to be a bit long winded about half way through. Probably would have... More

Easy to get to using public transport - we caught a tram there and the S-Bahn back to the city centre (HBF). We had an audio guide, and the facility primarily covered the rise of the Nazi party, a little bit about WWII and some info about the Jews at the end of the self-guided tour. A very interesting information... More

Second time I visit, first was alone and this time with my parents. Very wide range of material on the Nazi regime and Hitler's ascendence to power in the 1930. Admirable to see how Germans have made a critical, objective view of their own history and share it with the world. The dimension of the Gelande that Hitler was building... More

give yourself enough time- the museum and the surrounding grounds will take a lot of time . Really enjoyed coming out here but it is a bit of a trek from the centre.

Great place to visit if you like your 2 world war history..the museum focus on Nuremberg part in the build up to the war & after..we were in no rush & spent between 2 - 3 hrs there..price was €5 entrance fee & you get audio piece with that..there's also a cafe & lockers available for bags & coats.

I have been near this place but not inside. Maybe it is nice and magnificent, maybe boring and insignificant. But the fact that this nazi memorial still exists is not good itself.

When in Nuremberg, this is of course a must. It's only €5 to enter. It's a walk around a lot of pictures with an audio guide, a few shirt films along the way. Here gave a fascinating insight into everything leading upto the rise of The Nazi party, how they developed. Everything around the war about the nation and their... More
