Enormous collection in a deceptively large building, covering several floors Displays are interesting but not well labeled or explained, and somewhat repetitious Worthwhile visit for some but too much for many others

This is a huge museum of glass that covers several floors. We bought our tickets from a lady who made no effort to be friendly and helpful. We were told to go to the elevator and push the up button. That's all we got, so...More

I loved seeing all the colorful glass at the Glasmuseum in Passau, but the lighting left much to be desired. Four, maybe five floors of lovely glass in many rooms, but the lighting was on motion sensors. Some lights never flickered. As a paperweight enthusiast,...More

I would never have thought a glass museum would be so amazing. The 4 story collection is out of this world. I would recommend it to anyone visiting for a tour. You will not be disappointed.

There were some interesting pieces to see along with the uninteresting. It was a bit boring after awhile.

Right opposite the Townhall, this museum is one of the largest glass museums worldwide (maybe even the largest). Unfortunately the presentation is made without any "love". The rooms are dark (there are lights in the rooms, but they are not switched on). The air in...More
